OUR STORY
Dewey’s Commercial Bakery grew out of the retail bakery founded in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, in 1930. Our standards and passion for quality trace straight back to 96 years of baking fresh, delicious baked goods.
When we built our first production facility in 2006, we collaborated with our equipment manufacturer to build lines that could translate our artisan style of baking at scale. That’s still how we think about growth today: scale should always protect what makes a product special.
Today, our commercial bakery brings together two facilities totaling over 150,000 square feet, world-class safety certifications, highly specialized equipment, and hundreds of recipes.
